After many pained searches on Google, Yahoo, MSN, and even the infamous GahooYoogle , I’ve come in terms with my addiction to instant messaging. It’s such an underlying concept. Being able to babble a bunch of buttons on a keyboard, hit ENTER, and it instantly appears on your recipients screen. Oh, the joy it brings me. It gives me such a rush
For a giddy video gamer at an XBOX convention, I’m compared as a software geek meant to search for those provoking programs out there in the online world. Enough babble, let’s move on…
I’ve come across AIM, MSN, ICQ, Yahoo Messenger, yada yada. But have you ever had the patience or the computer space to download all those instant messaging Gods and wait for them to load on a clunky computer? I can relate, in all regards. I’ve had MSN installed on my Windows platform; I’ve had convenient AIM stuck in this machine; heck, I’ve almost come into terms of downloading ICQ (the pressure is immense. I’m still battling that urge). They take up so much space to have them all installed; as well as how much time it takes for them to finally load. I mean, really, who has that kind of patience?
Trillian of Cerulean Studios is the best instant messaging program I have ever had. It’s the best thing that could happen to me in my search for instant messaging systems. It makes my eyes water when the thing loads (well… you know, exaggeration is the best persuasive technique out there. It explains how people have been purchasing unheard of diet pills). Still, it’s bypassed all my expectations as an instant messenger with features such as: the ability to connect to AIM, MSN, ICQ, and YAHOO all at once, convenient small interface, optional skins, optional plug-ins, and… without advertisements! I never really liked the sleezy ads placed on the AIM interface, but Trillian just wipes it out entirely. That’s what you get AOL, for placing advertisements about diet pills for persuaded customers!
I’m just sharing my findings to fellow visitors
