Well, we’ve arrived at the pinnacle of 2007 and I could not help but oblige. And here are my resolution for the new year:

1. Organization is key. A room in which one has a hole puncher and year-old chocolates on the same desk is not.
2. Run good mileage, just without the horsepower.
3. Volunteer in my community much more than I currently am, because folding a tarp at the end of a school fair does not cut it.
4. Be more comfortable around strangers in the elevator and in the school halls. Do you know how awkward it is to stand in the middle of a stuffed elevator with a dozen people piled around you?
5. Use time more efficiently. This, I will not add exaggeration.
6. Read a reasonable amount of books monthly.
7. Despite it being a little late for Thanksgiving wishes, being more appreciative.
8. Find a $100 dollar bill neatly tucked in between the branches of a nimble tree. A humble one, I know.

Personally, 2007 hasn’t been all too stressful nor has it been one of those “Years of Discovery,” but rather things been laid back, as cliche and trite as it may sound. I’ve found 2007 to be a “sit-back-and-relax” year, with my trip to Washington D.C., the end of my 8th grade year, and a whole new fresh start as a 9th grader as the icing of the cake. And I’m expecting 2008 to be much more fulfilling. Hopefully, not too out there as to tying myself to the roof of a car and vaulting myself 50 feet in the air, with the aid of a catapulting contraption powered by stale rubber bands and sweat-soaked band t-shirts, and landing within those superfluous, inflatable castles in which children jump within.
