Lately, my life has been so slow and passive. It’s aggravating to know that you don’t have any plans today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and so on. I remember when June was full of merry activities. And July… just slows me down. It’s as if someone has put my life on PAUSE and has every now and then pressed PLAY. Look at me, I’ve just compared myself to Tivo, a television recorder. What my life portrays. Darn my haphazard “I’m-a-pessimistic-optimist-looking-for-something-to-do-that’s-not-pessimist” self
Now wasn’t that optimism?!

I’m sorry. I’m just losing it really. I’m hoping to see The Simpsons Movie next week with friends. But… sadly.. being my optimistic-like pessimist self, I don’t believe my parents will let me. They’re the stereotypical “strict Asian parents” afraid of the casual rapists, pedophiles, and what the world has to offer that’s bad. I believe it’s a genetic trait? Please excuse my depressive state. Ignore my emo ramblings…

In other blogging related news, I’ve signed up for Blogtorprofit, Blogsvertise, and Blogitive, and neither of them have given me tasks or a confirmation email yet. I have no patience. This is just to clear. It shows through my obessive need to check my Gmail spam mail and inbox. Let alone asking my Dad about the workings of a bank account, bankruptcy, and the infamous debit card. I’m such a poor boy. Such a poor boy indeed.

I’ll lighten up later. Remember… POSITIVE. POSITIVE. POSITIVE.

Has anyone seen Foodnetwork’s “The Next Foodnetwork Star?” Kinda evident, I do know JAG QUIT THE RACE! I can’t believe he lied about his history though… but I guess it was for his morality. Geez, for a kid who watched the last 5 people in the race for their new Footnetwork show and a nice looking car, I am so pumped. VOTE FOR YOUR NEXT FOODNETWORK STAR!. Haha, I’m not much of a House, 24, or Prison Break fan as you can see. How unconventional.

Why is my writing so passive? I’ll get over it soon enough. Expect some sponsored posts though

Ahh. My life is exactly like yours. My dad is one of those retarded and STRICT asian parent, so he doesn’t let me do anything. It really sucks. And when I don’t get conforimation emails like the told me I would, I get obsessive and check my email eveyr like .459837 seconds. Okay not that quick but I check it alot. And I’ve been planning to see the Simpsons movie too, buuuuut… I just haven’t had the time, plus my dad. Ewww.

I dunno about you, but I feel like that sometimes during the holidays. Maybe I’m just stuck with myself for an overdue period of time o_O But hey, you’ll see the movie some day. Plus, you’re not alone. I don’t think I’m allowed to see it either along with a tonne of other asian kids.

It’s called summer blues. Bear with it until classes start again(on September?). Funny isn’t. When there’s school, we wanted to go on holidays but when it’s holidays, we’re just too bored that we want to get back to school. Reason why I have this love-hate relationship between semestral breaks.

I’m not sure if it really takes time for blogtoprofit to approve your applications. Some bloggers got their approval after several MONTHS.

Patience is a virtue. But like you, I’m not gifted with it. Hehehe

Are really Asian parents strict? maybe that’s how people see it fif they’re in the western world… but if your here in the “old world” I guess “strictness” is more of a “normal” phenomenon.

i do not watch house, 24, or prison break :p. you are not the only one. i used to watch the food network, now i spend my time watching disney channel and cartoon network with the sibs. sometimes i watch MTV though, an occasional movie here or there lol.

i want to see the simpsons movie. i’m thinking about maybe going with my friends when it debuts. i need a life, seriously. my summer has been boooooring to the G.

let me know how the blogging thing goes. i was thinking about signing up for those things this fall but idk how they pay so any info would be good =].

What’s wrong with me eh? I haven’t commented at your site for ages! I keep reading the blogs and meaning to comment…anyways, now I am. I know what you mean, so does almost all of the blogging population. June was packed with stuff, our school handed out calendars with all the things going on at the beginning of each month, and there was only about 3 days with nothing going on.

Now in July, I hang out with my friends from time to time (always good fun) but other than that there’s nothing. In response to your title, it’s kinda making everyone’s blogs seem ‘emo’. I’m a pessimist as well, I figure it’s better than being an optimist, ’cause if you always expect the worst, you aren’t disappointed when the worst happens. And if you happen to get a better outcome than you expected…well that’s always a good thing.

Haha, I think I might go see that with my friends too. But I’m gonna see ‘Chuck & Larry’ first. My parents weren’t too good with that all at first, but now I can walk/ride my bike to the movie theater 20 minutes away (longer walking) and they don’t care, as long as I’m with a friend. I hope you can go. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, perhaps? I check my e-mails a lot too, though, when I’ve applied for something. Good to make money though, I’m sure they’ll approve you or whatever they do, because your site is awesome and gets a lot of hits. I don’t actually want a bank account, but my parents WANT me to get one. *sigh*

I don’t watch much television, so I don’t know that show that you’re talking about. I believe I’ve heard about it - what was his history like and why did he lie about it? I’m not much of a House, 24 or Prison Break fan either. In fact I’ve only heard of them, not seen one episode. Stay positive!

I am the optimistic-pessimist myself. It’s July so I know that the Summer Season is half-over.
But then I think only half of summer is left until I can return to the joys of education.
It’s a fifty/fifty offer.
The Simpsons Movie. Very controversial stuff indeed. If only there wasn’t such a controversial item then controversy would have no place in this controversial country as well as China.

The only thing that’s going to happen for me in July is the Harry Potter 7 book release. My EX-friend somehow got his hands on an illegal jpg file of the book, and he told me who he-who-must-not-be-named kills. GAH I HATE THAT GUY. He even showed me the jpg of the book. They keep the book under padlock, but somehow a scrawny little thirteen year old from the suburbs of California has got his grubby little hands on it. Good luck with the paid blog posts. I don’t think blogtoprofit is accepting anyone right now because I sent in thundered.net and they still haven’t replied yet.
