I usually don’t blog this often at all, so for those worried about my blogging habits, DO NOT FEAR, my life is not this action-packed. Really. I just so happened to have a lot of events going on in a short period and what to do other than blog. Oh yes, the wonders of Wordpress (press the link for the BEST blogging software =) an opinionated statement if I do say so myself).

Today, I had absolutely no sleep due to the Internet and biked to my friend’s house at 11:00 AM, swerving through reckless cars and dodging swift pedestrians (I like to exaggerate. Makes sound so “dangerous” :D). Arriving at the front door, I was greeted to the sight of a ping pong table, a pool table, nice carpeting, and a bunch of little brothers and sisters (friendly little kids they were) inside the house. We then headed upstairs and came upon a series of fortunate events: a pillow fight, air hockey, game of pool, Myspace-ing, a game of “tiny” basketball, and fooling around with his MANY little brothers and sisters . And that’s just the BEGINNING.

Moving on, we drove to the movies in their convenient SUV-like vehicle that holds NINE PEOPLE, and 10 if you like riding in the trunk, to the movies in a near by casino. We watched Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer. It wasn’t a bad movie; yet it wasn’t the best. Ahh, I hate mediocre media. During the movie, we fooled around with the phrases said in the movie as well as have popcorn thrown in each others faces. I actually dunked a bag of popcorn on my friends. I got a good punch afterwards =)

Next, we entered the glorious ARCADE. We met this kid who could solve a Rubik’s cube so fast, it was scary with all those twists and turns with the cube. His FASTEST time was 23 seconds.It’s ASTOUNDING, yet still freaky, that a person can do that altogether I worship cool people like that.

Back at the house, we encountered a game of POKER. That’s right 13, 14-year old kids playing POKER. Is it really illegal for kids to do that? We played with real chips, just without the money. I had no clue how to play, and even then, when I knew the tactics and strategies of the game, I SUCKED. I would’ve said “done poorly,” but in this case, I really SUCKED. After quitting the game and letting my friend’s younger sister take over (she did better than me :P), I agreed to get a haircut by his talented Aunt who could whip up a nice looking do (do in the sense of a snazzy haircut) in a flash, and, it was altogether FREE. How could I pass up the opportunity of shorter hair and an UNBELIEVABLE bargain?

After much snipping and looks from my friends as they WATCHED her attempt with razors at my thick hair, my hair had come to be. I… am PROUDLY TO ANNOUNCE… that you are reading the blog of an owner of a FOHAWK thank you very much =) (WHOA! I clicked the link… lots of variations.. ) Haha, what surprises me even more was that my mother didn’t MIND it, heck, she LIKED IT (I can’t say loved, because she didn’t start crying at the utter beauty of my short head). I like this haircut. I indeed do. It’s something I’ve never done before. It’s summer right? GO FOR IT =)

I would go on and begin discussing about how I managed to barely escape the wrath of a bomb-implanted helicopter, but you know, I think that’s enough for the day =)

One time I played poker.

Wow. It sounds like you had an interesting day. I didn’t think the new Fantastic movie was very good. Well, the effects were cool and all, but I didn’t think it was better then the original movie. Most sequels aren’t as good as the original, unless you count Harry Potter. A fohawk..I’m in shock. YOU SEEMED SO INNOCENT. Just kidding.

the cube, yeah there’s a special set of ways you have to turn it and it will all fall into place. my math teacher is a PRO. i tried to stare at a commercial and try and figure it out, but i failed. and poker, don’t get me started. congrats on your fohawk. i imagine it like mr. t, but idk. i’m done =]

Wow, it sounds like you had a ton of fun. Although, I can’t say I agree too much about throwing popcorn in the movie theater and chatting while it was on. Unless of course it was just your friends and you in which case that’s perfectly fine. I love how you exaggerated your bike ride. That’s just really funny to me. I love blogging, even if I don’t that often. It’s … friendly? Oh wow, I don’t know. I can’t use WordPress! I don’t understand how to make themes for it, the coding is too much for my brain to comprehend.

HAHA, ’swift’ pedestrians. I’m very paranoid when it comes to crossing the road and all, bike or no. That person sounds like they have a REALLY nice house. Holy. It’s always good when you can tolerate little kids. Sometimes they can be quite the annoying bunch.

Are these people rich?! Anyways, I was going to see Rise of the Silver Surfer with some friends last Friday but we couldn’t get a ride and we didn’t feel like biking there. I don’t want to see it though, I mean I’d go with friends for the sake of seeing it with your friends, but other than that…well I wasn’t expecting anything great from it. Whenever I go to a movie and come out thinking ‘Wow, that was awesome…’ I feel a new hope for the media industry (which is headed down the tubes).

Woah. 23 SECONDS?! That’s amazing. I don’t try things like Rubic Cubes. I’m smart if I do say so myself, but things like that make my brain want to explode. I play poker (er, well used to) with some of my friends from school. We don’t play with chips or money though, just short rounds for fun. I love it.

Wow, a free haircut? That’s amazing…and short is always better. I wear my long-ish hair in a pony tail because it would be wayyy too hot to wear it down in weather like this! But at least your mom didn’t mind it, and as long as you love it, that’s great!

AH, my friends and I went to the movies yesterday and we watched “1408.” The other day, my sister told me it sucked, so I told my friends…but they wouldn’t listen to me. Guess what, it DID suck horribly…note: I laughed throughout the movie! So, I think watching Fantastic Four was way better than what I experienced. Well, maybe if you didn’t have a LARGE popcorn you couldn’t finish or large soda, I had it better =]

I love arcades! And rubiks cubes…that reminds me of this dude who was on “Beauty and the Beast 2.” It was so funny! The guy was crazy though! He was able to solve it in a few seconds with his hands BEHIND his back.

That’s great that you loved your new haircut. I can’t remember the last time that I actually LOVED a new haircut. I usually hate mine and then grow to like it over the next few days.
